Dr. Georges Antoun Farhat, MD

I have been a patient of his caring and highly competent doctor for many years. I have several diseases that cause intense chronic pain. He does all that is humanly possible to help his patients. He is not a pill pusher and many opioid addicted people rate him poorly as all thet really want is more pills. Dr. Farhat cares about the underlying condition causing your pain and works hard to build an environment of collaboration with YOU, and your specialist physician(s), and his office staff. Do not expect him to pop-in, get a script and go. He sticks to Federal and State requirements. Expext mandatory drug tests and a patient contract. When maximum opioid dosages were mandated, he worked diligently to find effective alternatives. He also doesn't push steroids as a cure-all. Having said that, he did find solutions to my former life of pain, now my pain is managed, which is his specialty afterall. This office staff is very efficlent, does pre-authozations quickly, gets you "in"… that day if necessary. He takes his patients on-time, but never rushes. You are a person and a patient. His compassion is rare in today's money-driven world. 100% recommended, and I have recommended him to friends and family.

I have been a patient with Dr Farhat for awhile now. He has always listened carefully, even to casual comments, and has given me great treatment. And he has also referred me to other specialists who have done wonders for my overall problems. I very much appreciate his advice and overall support of my pain issues!!

I have been seeing Dr. Farhat for over 7 years. I have arthritis in my lower back and the pain comes and goes - mainly based on my activity. I have had 3 different series of trigger point injectsions during those years and every time the pain went away.

I only had 2 visits with him and that was enough for to know,he wasn't going to help me.Been having lower back pain and pain on r leg for 2 yrs.My PC had me on 40 mg oxcycontin 3x's a day.I've had all kinds of tests and procedures done.Has made the pain ease up some but not entirely.I've been told there is no surgery to fix "sciatica"My PC couldn't no longer precribe the oxcycontin so he tells i need to go to a pain mgmt.I picked this quack off the internet.the fist i went he gave me 30 opana 7.5.I told him that med made so sick that i had to miss work cause that how sick they made me.Sent me to have a MRI and said that he didn't see anything that required strong med.he wanted to give 5.5 opana and i told him i didn't want something that made me very sick and drowsy while i was at work.He kept saying he wasn't going to give anything else.he finally gave me after he saw how upset i was getting,he gave me 60 quanity of hydrocodone 10.325 and said to take only 2 a day.I told him why was… he calling himself a pain mgmt doctor when i just could've just gone to another regular dr and gotten that!!then he said that my next appt would be in another month and he was giving me less meds and until i didn't need them anymore.Never said anything about what was he going to do about the pain that i had.Didn't spend no more than 10 min with me but charged my insurance an arm and leg of course!!I told him i'm not getting any younger but older and the pain is getting worst!!DON'T GO SEE HIM,HE WILL NOT HELP YOU,HE JUST TAKES YOUR MONEY.WHAT DOCTOR TAKES A DAY OFF EVERY WEEK!!!IF anytone knows of good pain mgmt doctor in arlington,tx that will give me what i need,please let me know.

After going through medicines, TENS, manipulation, therapy, ... I was sent to Dr. Farhat and he was the only doctor that was able to not just reduce my pain, but properly diagnose a bulging disc that was pinching a nerve, and eliminated the pain entirely with deep shots. Dr. Farhat said up front that the deep shots do not work for everybody, but the shots last over a year for me each time. On the few muscle spasms I get between the deep shots, he performs trigger point injections that removes the knots. I have never had to wait any length of time at all, using going back to the exam rooms within 5 minutes of my appointment time. He is caring and listens to you, making sure you get back to where you were so that you do not need to modify the activities you do.

This is a man that cares and is totally aware of how to properly care for his patient's. Takes the time to listen and diagnose properly what the true problem is and makes certian the patient is informed and free of discomfort!

My husband has been seeing him for some time now. He way under prescribes meds and can't even remember my husbands condition. He seems way too concerned about his next patient and could care less that the meds he gives do not work.He needs to find another profession
