Dr. Georgi Mikeladze, MD

Sexist, rude, and unwilling to listen to me or my wife about my pain. Prescribed medication without any review of my history with SSRIs which resulted in me taking 6 weeks off work due to debilitating side effects. Refused to listen or change my prescription. Does not acknowledge fibromyalgia as a disability. I thought he was just brusque at first but after several calls each only lasted 1-5 minutes in which he interrupted me constantly and wouldn’t allow me to talk, I realized he was not going to get better.

Please, do not have him as your doctor. I have never had a worse doctor. His is ignorant, sexist, continued to gaslight me and not listen or believe me. It is sad that he is still director of a pain management department.

This guy is the worst!!!!

Dr. Mikeladze was totally understanding, compassionate and he understood all my pains and ailments. He also helped me to accept my situation. I think he is great. Since our initial appointment he has been proactive and responsive in a timely manner. I could not ask for more. I was concerned after reading the other reviews. My experience was different and exactly what I needed.

I am NOT a drug addict, and I'm tired of Dr. Mikeladze raising his voice with me, and arguing with me about medication combinations (I normally take 60 mg morphine as needed/day, and 4-6 Norco a day.)I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia (chronic pain),and hsve just undergone my second total knee replacement. Dr M. argued with me when I was only on my second week of recovery when I asked for more oxycodone and morphine so that I could continue to tolerate the required (and painful) physical therapy that is so important with this surgery. He kept hassling me about the morphine (I was taking 90 mg day for the first two weeks post-op, eventually tapering down to the 60mg I was prescribed).Fortunately, I was smart enough to keep a chart as to when I took morphine and oxycodone, (oxy 1-2 every six hours, and every 12 hours for the 30mg morphine I took per day. No deviations, no extra pills). Dr. Mikeladze, I am NOT an addict! I am someone who suffers daily, and I do not appreciate… being treated with such contempt. Dr. Mikeladze is mean, absolutely hands off, and accusatory, even with his chronic pain, legitimate patients. He needs to take sensitivity classes on how to treat his pain clinic patients!

Brusque, but professional. Seemed very up-to-date and informed on developments in his field. Very responsive and respectful of my opinion. Gave me time to think about a number of options and returned my calls in a short amount of time. Came highly recommended by a Physical Therapist who I have worked with for over 5 years. This PT is absolutely the best medical professional I have ever seen in my entire life: 40 years. Will update Dr. Mikeladze's review when i see him again.
