Dr. Georgia A. Jones

Terrible service. Georgia never followed up with anything I asked her for. Her staff member cost me money with clerical errors. Unwillingness to do paperwork caused problems with my employment. She did not address two of my DXs ever in the multiple year patient doctor relationship we had.

Dr. Jones is the best psychiatrist I've ever been to, and I've been to several. She takes time to talk to me and check up on how my meds are doing. She stays up to date on new medications and methods of treatment. I've always found her to be sympathetic and caring.

Told me there was nothing more she could do.

I was really disappointed in my visit with Dr. Georgia Jones. I am experiencing high stress level in conjunction with caring for extremely ill husband. Her suggestion was to quit smoking and she prescribed me a depression pill. She also led the responses to her satisfaction. She also made a " poor taste" comment about doctors dropping off their patients on her. I was seeking help in coping skills. I will see to it that neither I nor my husband return there. We originally went because of the convenient location for us. The visit was conducted via computer screen. She was not very personable and barely looked your way. She had the type of personality that did not let you speak your opinion or express your feelings. Very lacking in empathy. You will see if you go there for a real problem and are seeking professional advice.

If you want a doctor who will recklessly prescribe multiple psychiatry meds without a concern for drug interaction or follow-ups, this doctor is for you!

I find that she is very helpful to me. There was a time. I waited 10 minutes for her and it felt like an hour, but when she saw me. She was kind and understood my situation. She even let me know I wasn't alone by talking about a similiar situation she had. She made me feel so much better. I also had time when my life was going good and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. It really depends on what is going on in my life. One thing for sure the medicine helps. And I do say that is what really counts. She talks from her heart and she talks to you not at you. I feel like I have a friend when I go there. I guess in my situation if you drive an hour away you better like your doctor. Thank gosh I do.

Dr. Jones is overbooked and takes on too many patients. She refuses to return or accept phone calls from patients even if you have a problem, all you will get is "she does not have time to see you". The receptionist will just tell you to go to the emergency room even though there is no emergency. After getting to the ER they looked at me like well what does she expect us to do, she shouldn't have sent you here. Her receptionist is incompetent & failed to tell me I would have to visit a certain hospital ER that could facilitate mental health. After 2 weeks of trying to contact her with my medication issue I kept deteriorating,as a result of her poor patient care I ended up in the ER 3 times and was in hospital twice now due to my medications. ER even tried to contact her and they said she refuses to even see patients when they call. Needless to say she's fired and now I have new Dr that doesnt just come in, say hello and then push pills. Also should have been a big red flag when her… office doesn't have air conditioning and she is always behind schedule. What Dr's office doesn't have a/c nowdays?

Dr Jones is a standout in her field.She has insight and compassion; not to mention she is highly intelligent and perceptive. I am in my 60's, and havemoved around a bit during my career. Since I have seen many Drs during my moving about, I can tell you most assuredly she is tops. There is no female comparison for her in any city I have lived. I have no hesistations with my referral for Dr Jones.

I have been seeing Georgia for a long time.Don,t know how I would have made it with out her understanding and help.She is the friend you can tell all to.And feal good when you leave
