Dr. Georgina Marie Heal, MD

This is to edit my review on Jan 10, 2024. The annual concierge fee was $2,100, not $3,600.

Initially, she’s lovely & helped me w/ a dangerous heart condition. Then she began the personal insults. Such as, criticizing me for not taking cymbalta for pain way back in the early 1990’s. It was so nuts, I had to think about it later. She had all the facts about the prescribing doc, & every detail wrong. Still don’t understand what her point was. From there, it just got worse. Condescending on almost everything to the point where it was depressing going for appts. She becomes uninterested in you & belligerent when you really need her attention. The disappointment I felt by this doc was too much for me. I found another doc for the new year. She is not worth the $3,600 annual concierge fee. You’ve been warned.

My spouse and I have been patients of Dr. Heal for over 20 years. She is an excellent doctor. She has been able to quickly diagnose and properly treat Lyme Disease and Dengue Fever. She is no nonsense at the hospital which I appreciate. Her staff is kind and concerned. We have never had a problem getting a prescription when needed though we prefer the paper variety. Yes, the monthly fee adds up but she is worth it. She is a gem.

Worst doctor I ever had. Tough, cold, without empathy, . I have never had a doctor less than fifteen years unless I moved. I was with her three miserable months. She made assumptions that were terrible if they got on your records and for the monthly extra I paid there was very little and anxiety producing appointments

Worst doctor I have ever been to. She is in the boutique business for a reason...to charge you, to get you in and out. Her diagnois was never accurate, no follow up, never went out of her way to help or find alternative treatments nor is willing to refer you to other programs/medical treatments to help. She's pretty basic and if you have serious breathing problems....run...you will be her patient one day and she will fire you the next. Her receptions are great but once you walk through the door, beware!

My doctor sent me to see Dr. Heal for my breathing. I went to two appointments with Dr. Heal. All she wanted to talk to me about was joining her practice and leaving my doctor who I love. I'm not sure why she was trying to make me leave my doctor, but it seemed more important to her than taking care of my breathing. The whole thing seemed SLEEZY to me! I would definitely NOT recommend her to anyone!

Excellent bedside manner - thorough, really listened to me.

My internist sent me to Dr Heal for a Pulmonology consult. Because I was in acute pain, they squeezed me into the office in just 2 days! Her history & physical took an hour; the most comprehensive I've had in years. Although the diagnosis was fairly obvious (viral pleurisy) she continued asking probing questions to be sure she hadn't missed anything. Her treatment plan was explained well. Her bedside manner is a wonderful mix of professional, courteous, and compassionate.

Thorough, professional, good diagnostician
