Dr. Georgios Manousakis, MD

I just wanted to respond to this review below, you were wondering if he had ever raised his voice to another patient I can say you are not alone, not only did he did so, but he was rude condescending, and spoke over me, he decided on a diagnosis and literally re-wrote my medical history to support this diagnosis and discarded a more accurate one of which I depended on for life-preserving care. When I tried to correct false statements he had made he told me I was irrational and unknowledgeable. I was critically ill when I was placed with him and after one Appt I knew I needed to find someone else, but with months before I could get into to see someone else I went to a follow up with him and brought a family member with the hopes he might be more respectful with a witness, instead he treated both of us terribly. My family members who is a calm and collected person found themselves yelling just to try to be heard over his yelling and non-stop talking without letting either of us get a… word in edge wise. We had gone in with the goal of having a simple blood test run that would have supported the diagnosis we suspected based on family history and presentation (a diagnosis that he did not support),he openly mocked us for asking about it and if my family member hadn’t been so insistent it wouldn’t have been done, I was simply too sick to argue with him like that, he reluctantly agreed telling us he was only doing it to get us to shut us up and that it wouldn’t show anything and never does. Low and behold it came back positive, but even then it did nothing to get him on the right path. Fortunately the Appt I made and had to wait for was with a wonderful neurologist that affirmed my diagnosis and got me the treatment I needed, but there is no doubt the damage caused by delaying treatment and diagnosis. I found out later that he wrote a litany of false information in my medical records and portrayed me as mentally unstable, these statements continue to follow me as all the physicians I see read them and way too many believe them and neglect the hard evidence of disease in my records in favor of this narrative. My brief time with him continues to negatively influence my care. Without question, he is the most dangerous physician I have ever seen.

I have been going to Manousakis for about 4 years it's time for change. Yesterday in the visit he started raising his voice, this is NOT the first time. Second opinion has been suggested by others in the medical field. Yesterday he diagnosed me without testing. Gets upset because the medication he would like to put me on - I have bad side effects. He tells me I'm the only one that has issues with his treatment plan and no one else is affected with the medications prescribed. Am I the only one that he raises his voice to ? No person should be treated this way. I'm here for help! Not a beat down.
