Dr. Cahill is an excellent surgeon.. and he knows it. Almost too much I think. If you're looking for a compassionate, understanding, talkative, "answer all your questions" type doctor.. Look the other way and go elsewhere. In total between all of my visits ( and there was a lot ) I probably only saw him 3 times and spoke with him a total of 15 minutes, if that. And my encounters with him were... hostile. He's kinda rude. But he'll tell you exactly how it is. So I don't know if it's really "rude" or just.. straight to the point. You ever see Dr Now on 600-lb life? Those kind of vibes lol. He didn't even check up on me after my surgery and I was there for two nights. That was probably my biggest beef with him through the entire process. HOWEVER, I've lost 100lbs. So.. I guess he did his job right. He's just cocky. Anyway, I'd recommend him LOL.

I dont know of this doctor's surgical expertise, but this is the rudest person that I have every encountered. True lack of concern and care for patients. Disrespectful in tone attitude and overall condescending. There are several amazing bariatric surgeons in the Chicagoland area. I would recommend any one else if care, respect and compassion are important.

This is a fine caring surgeon who will do his best to make sure you are receiving the best surgery and the best care possible. He is very conscientious and hardworking. I recommend him to anyone looking to undergo Bariatric surgery. You will be glad you are seeing the very best doctors available!

Dr Cahill did my gastric bypass almost 7 years ago. I can never thank him enough. The before and after care I received from Dr Cahill and Tony went above and beyond they both gave me their cell phone numbers. Dr Cahill is the definition of what a Dr should be. I had some issues not related to surgery and they were with me every step of the way

Great surgeon,but a ghost afterwards, I've never seen him since the surgery. Always his nurse at follow up visits.

Dr. Cahill and his staff are very professional and thorough. I couldn't have asked for better treatment. The also have after care which is critical to being successful. I won't deny it, the surgery and recovery is tough but I'm down 85 # and need to loose more. I know I couldn't do it by myself. Thank you so much.
