Dr. Gerald Ambrose Charnogursky, MD

Dr. C, as I call him because his last name is difficult for me to pronounce, is an amazing doctor. I have had the pleasure of being his patient since 2020. In this time he carefully listened to me and discovered a rare disease I have called Cushings. With his help, he paired me with excellent surgeons at Loyola who have removed my brain tumor. I am now recovering and routinely messaging Dr. C with my health updates. He and his staff is very proficient in responding and nailing a diagnosis to the core. It took a while but working with Dr. C put me at peace. He is a very nice man who gets to know his patients making the visits easy. I definitely recommend him for any endocrinology needs!

as good as it gets . i truly believe i am alive today because of him. very thourough . sees me every six months and remembers everything that is important . he modifys drugs and dosages and my important numbers are where they need to be. advice he gives is spot on . sometimes i wish i was a better patient because i sometimes veer off the path, thats on me. i ask him each time i see him if hes thinking about retirement and if he is he must consult me first.

I have been seeing Dr. Charno for over 10 years for my osteoporosis and he is an excellent doctor. In addition to being very thorough he listens to your concerns and works with you in your treatment. As a bonus, his memory amazes me and has a great sense of humor.

I have been a patient for over 15 years. Tough but caring!!! I would change him for the world.

I am very new with this doctor. His communication style is unusual, but pleasant, and he seems very thorough and, for me at least, a good and careful diagnostician.

This doctor is the best. All doctors can take a lesson from him as to how to treat people....as a doctor and a human. I recommend him to everyone!!!!

Dr. Charnogursky in my opinion is the most happiest doctor I've ever seen. He always comes in the room with a smile and shakes your hand as if he hasn't seen you in years. Although I only see him every six months,I feel good when he enters the examing room. My primary doctor sent me to Dr. Charnogursky and it's been really fun. He doesn't push me to do things if I don't see that I should do them and let's me decide if and when I want to do them, I guess if it's not detrimental to my health.

Treated my grand daughter after removal of a pituitary tumor. Very easy to talk to...thorough in the exam...and followed up with phone calls. He was great.
