Dr. Gerald Francis Dugan, MD

The outcome of my knee replacement surgery left me extremely disappointed. STILL having constant pain and my mobility is very limited, as is the quality of my life. I regret having the surgery tremendously.

Dr. Dugan performed a total hip replacement on me a month ago. I had severe pain for an extended period of time but since my surgery I have zero pain. Dr Dugan is the BEST and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a total hip replacement.

I had both knees replaced by him. He is very attentive and experienced. I always knew in the hospital he would be coming through my door about 5:00 am to check on me then he was headed down to his office. Not sure he sleeps! He explains the whole procedure and all of the pros and cons so you know exactly what you are to expect. He does not sugar coat that you need to do your part and he takes time to answer any questions. I would recommend him to everyone! It has been 2 years plus since my surgery and I have been doing great.

I have had two surgeries (knee and shoulder) by Dr. Dugan. I received excellent care. He communicated with me at my level so I understood everything that was going to happen. I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic treatment.

wonderful bedside manner. takes enough time to answer all your questions. have had 2 total hip replacements and would schedule surgery with him for any of his other specialties.

Dr. Dugan listened to my concerns about my hip and reviewed MRI with me. He did not rush me and asked me a lot of questions. I know he knows his stuff and he seemed caring about my problem.

I had both of my knees replaced by Dr. Dugan about three years ago. I did one knee and then the other about four months later. He did an excellent job on both of them. It's like I never had any knee problems before. I never had any complications and have felt like a new man ever since! Dr. Dugan is exceptional with staying in touch with his patients and always was close by with any questions or concerns I may have had while going through the entire process. If you're considering a surgeon for your new knees, Dr. Dugan is the man who can and will help you. Put your faith in his skill and knowledge...you won't be sorry!

Dr. Dugan has done both of my husban's knees and one of mine. The surgery and after care was awesome. I can not recommend him highly enough. If you are considering having knee surgery Dr. Dugan is who you will want to do it.

He and his staff in Lee's Summit are wwonderful. I love him. He made my hip surgery easier to go through, by talking me through it. Follow up with a home nurse. I recouperated in a month! That is about 4 months early. I would recomend him to anyone.
