Dr. Gerald Francis Falasca, MD

He is the best. Always answers my questions, takes time to explain his answers. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Treats you with respect. I like him.

The only downside is that he's so good and in demand that he can only see you once to twice a year. Yes, there can be a longer wait, but that's because he asks questions, answers yours and helps you make sure you understand what is wrong. He was able to diagnose my immune system disorder after many doctors over many years and different locations could not. If you want a robot doc looking to push the latest meds so he can see a lot of patients and make lots of money, he isn't for you. But if you're legitimately suffering from something in this field and want a caring and excellent diagnosis, see Dr. Falasca.

Thanks to his great bedside manner, thorough examination, listening and asking questions and then running tests, we discovered I had an immune system disorder that I didn't know I had. He was knowledgeable, compassionate, and laid out the treatment options. Unfortunately, no cure for it at this time, but he is managing it so it's bearable. He looks at my tests, xrays, etc. from other doctors also and helps me understand what's going on. A holistic approach that is rare in today's world of specialists and practitioners.

Dr. Falasca is on top of the issues I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. He is always so kind at my appointments. The group seems to have a high turnover with nurses and if you miss your appointment with him it takes a long time to get another. But he is the best!

He is the most compassionate Dr I have ever met. Even though you may have to wait sometimes to get back to see him, he always takes however much time you need to attend to your care. He is well worth any wait you may have. He diagnosed and effectively treated something that 3 other docs tried to push off as stress and overuse back pain.

In 2011 I began a treatment and diagnosis plan with Dr. Falasca, and investigated his background before the first appointment. We are very blessed to have this doctor in East Tennessee. He is kind, efficient, and very thorough. He is cautious not to try medical treatments that may be harmful. I am very pleased, and would recommend him. RA Patient.

Could not diagnose my sons muscle disorder so he said my son was faking it. My son still cannot walk properly. Also insinuated that maybe problems at home may be the reason he is faking illness. We have moved on to another doctor who I hope will stick with his medical field and not become a mental health specialist, especially when a child is in pain and as parents all we want is help.

Dr. Falasca is one of the most personable Dr's I have ever dealt with. When you see him, you are not in and out. He takes the time he needs with each patient like they are the only one on the schedule for the day. He is well worth the wait. He works hard to find a diagnosis and provide the correct treatment. I would highly send any of my friends or family members to him.
