Dr. Gerald Joseph Fay, MD

Dr. Fey diagnosed me with gout via urine sample, I did not have gout. He told me a mole on my neck was nothing to worry about. Second opinion deemed it a malignant melanoma. For someone who claims to be a cancer survivor, it's odd that he would miss that, or at least get an opinion from a specialist.

Dr. Fay has been our health provider for over 30 years. He treated my motherinlaw before us. He has been a literal life saver. I get excellent care, responsive nurse assistant, great staff. He is the best. Very thankful for him.

Dr. Fay has been my internist for 25 years. He is kind, knowledgable, gives you the time you need at your appointments, (never have I been rushed), and he truly cares about his patients. He doesn't hesitate to refer you to someone else if he feels the need. He's the best!

A doctor who really listens and the explains the treatment plan. Supported by a knowledgeable staff who have been there for many years.

He has been our Doctor for over 15 years and we trust no one else as we trust him. He is interested in you as a person and not just a patient. He asks lots of questions and is comfortable saying "I don't know what's going on, but lets find out!"

Worst bedside manner! He seemed to care more about his own complaints than his patients. This isn't just a one time bad day, but the last 3 times I've been there he has been rushed, rude, and careless. Not a good doctor! Talks a great deal about nothing to do with me or my appointment, very negative person!

I'm writing this review to comment about the incredibly rude staff at this office. I scheduled my first appointment a few weeks out and she told me that she would give me a reminder phone call and then also mail me some forms to fill out ahead of time. Neither of these things happened and I missed my appointment. She then informed me that the doctor said that first appointments could not be rescheduled and immediately hung up with an "OK BYE". Now I have to find a new doctor. This is entirely unacceptable and while I accept some responsibility for missing the appointment they did not follow through with anything they told me would happen when the appointment was first setup. It seems like this doctor doesn't really want new patients, either that or his rude office staff is loosing him business.
