Good primary care doctors are hard to come by these days. Dr. John cares.

My husband and I have been Dr. John's patients for years, and respect him and appreciate his medical treatment. But his office has become HORRENDOUS! It takes an average of 16-18 minutes waiting until someone picks up the phone. Occasionally, after they pickup, they hang up on you, and you have to start all over again. Then the merry-go-round starts! If you're lucky enough, you get someone who knows something. But at least one of those women in the phone room is downright dangerous: she gives out wrong information and really doesn't understand that people are calling the doctor because they are sick. THIS SHOULD NOT BE. I may have to find another doctor with a more user-friendly office.

I've been a patient for over 20 years and have the highest regard for Dr. John. He had helped under life saving conditions and his manner is always professional.

For fourteen years Dr. John has been my physician. I have enjoyed his care and patience and look forward to my visits.

Brusque to the point of rudeness. Talks AT you, not to you. Poor listener. Rushes through the appointment as if he is late for a plane. Complains a lot about insurance and Medicare.

8 years ago, I suffered from idiopathic inflammation and had lost 32 lbs. Was referred to Dr. John....Problem solved. Great Doctor with wonderful sense of humor

Love Dr. John! He's so very professional, caring and funny! Plus the office staff is always pleasant and helpful.

He is very positive and does not make you feel foolish when asking questions. His team is great as well.

I dislike a Dr. that spends more than half there time on a computer.

Dr. John has been my primary care physician for more than 20 years. I have since moved out of Sarasota, but I still commute to his office in order to remain under his care. He is pleasant, thorough, very smart, and highly respected by his peers throughout the Sarasota medical community. I would not consider changing.
