My Physical Therapist recommended I see Dr. Keane. He was very professional, thorough, and caring. I would definitely recommend him.

After having neck and back pain for 20 years, it is time to see a doctor. My experience was not good. Dr. Keane didn't prescribe a complete MRI scan to cover all my problem areas. Therefore, a lot of time and money have gone wasted. Here's the full story:I found Dr. Keane on Yelp. After explaining to the phone receptionist what I need to see Dr. Keane for, she said I need to make TWO separate appts. One for my neck and one for my lower back. This way insurance will pay Dr. Keane "correctly". Okay... so that means I have to pay $30 co-pay twice for initial exams? Hmm..So after the initial exams, I went TWO separate MRIs @ CA Advanced Imaging. One scan for my neck, the other one for my mid to lower back. I think for the same reason so the insurance company can pay this place "correctly" as well.I went back to Dr. Keane to get the results. The visit took 3 min. I was surprised to see there's not much problem with my neck. So another $30 co-pays for 5 min.Couple weeks later, I went to… see my long-time chiropractor & ask him to explain the scan again. Not until then, I realized the scan didn't go far down enough to where the problem was. So the bill shows up... The total bill from Dr. Keane is @ $2927. This amount is separate from what CA Advanced Imaging charges me for the MRI scan. Although my insurance covers 90% of it, $2927 is still outrageous! No wonder our insurance system is going to a ditch.
