Truly THE BEST!!! Sharp as a tack & has tight connections with all of the top specialists if you ever need them. He was my pediatrician and also cares for my kids and my nephews plus most of my friends’ & neighbors’ kids. He is so intuitive and knowledgeable that he can be trusted to make an accurate diagnosis or get you to the right specialist if he isn’t absolutely positive himself. He has a phenomenal bedside manner, the kids love him, and my husband and I completely trust him with our kids’ health—he has never missed a diagnosis and we’ve thrown some tricky ones his way. He also doesn’t over-test; he only does what’s necessary. Another important factor: He trusts that parents know their kids best! If you go in there and insist something isn’t quite right with your child, he *believes you* and makes it his mission to figure it out. We never feel rushed & he loves chatting with the kids. He truly listens to them and their concerns, and he asks further questions in very comfortable… ways so kids will be okay opening up to him even if the topic is awkward. He’s a fan of traditional vaccination schedules but is also very supportive if a parent has a strong preference to postpone vaccines. Dr. Lowther also takes a strong interest in our kids’ mental health, regularly asking them how school is going, who their friends are, what they do for fun, and questions about their emotions that are phrased easily enough for them to answer, plus he has a written questionnaire once they get close to the ages where depression becomes more common and he has great therapeutic/psychiatric contacts if their [confidential] answers give him cause for concern. He doesn’t hesitate to take your calls outside of regular office hours and treats every patient with the same care & attention to detail that he’d give his own child or grandchild. Highly recommend him and have recommended him for 40+ years. I dread the day he retires & pray it’s not until my youngest reaches adulthood. He’s the Superman of pediatricians!

Most wonderful doctor ever!

Dr. Lowther actually treated my husband (now 48 yrs. old!) when he was a newborn, both of my brother's kids (5 in total) and our 2 kids! WoW! Is all I can say about Dr. Lowther. My kids loved going to see him because he would always make them laugh! I believe Dr. Lowther should receive some kind of "Lifetime Achievement" Award for his great work, kindnesses and for being the most awesome example of what all doctor's should be like!! Delivered myself, my sister, my brother, and a dozen other family and friends. Spends unlimited time with patients and families, is extremely courteous and amazing to deal with.

Dr. Lowther is the kindest, knowledgable, professional, caring, wonderful, doctor any person could have. If only I as an adult, could find such a doctor. In the 20 years we've been going to Dr. Lowther, I can't find anything negative to say. There isn't words to express our appreciation for him & gratitude. He is truly the best.

Dr. Lowther was my brother's (22 yrs old) pediatrician & has been mine since I was born. (16 yrs old) He is one of the most compassionate doctors out there and he truly cares about his patients. The Robinson family loves you, Dr Lowther!!

I took my daughter to Doc from birth until she was of age and now takes her daughter to him. He's the best of the best! His compassion for children comes straight from his heart.

I couldnt ask for a better doctor for my children. I cant say enough about him. Not only does he get on the childs level to make them feel comfortable but he really listens to make the best possible diagnosis. We just love love love him!

Dr. Lowther has the biggest heart of any doctor that I have ever known. He is wonderful with children and I wouldn't think of taking my children to anyone but him.
