Dr. Gerald Lorn Oldham

Dr. Oldham has a general I-Don't-Care attitude about my well-being. He simply goes through the motions of healthcare and writes prescriptions. Furthermore, his staff fails to comply with urgent requests and lacks efficient communication.

Terrible, uncaring doctor. My mom saw him in Sept. for abdominal pain with referred left side pain. Did a chest X-ray and told her no cancer, GOOD LUCK. She died in Feb. of lymphoma which a simple CT-scan, basic diagnostic tool, would have caught. He sits on his computer with no actual relationship to the patient. Actually told my 84 yr. old mom GOOD LUCK. Refuses to return any calls from me, after repeated attempts. No bedside manner, no care at all.

Dr. Oldham has been one of the best family practice doctors to treat me. I would give him an A+ rating. He schedules my tests and retests on a timely basis and addresses my questions and concerns. I get referred to specialists if necessary. It would be nice to spend more time with him, but routine appointments have time limits. If it's an emergency type appointment, often he can work you into his schedule.

Dr. Oldham has been my Doc since 1987. He listens to me when I speak, and I nvere feel rushed. He refers me to excellent specialists if needed, and helps me himself if he can. If something is serious he gets me in quickly, which I appreciate.

Dr. Oldham is head and shoulders above some doctors I've had treatment from. He listens, sends me for tests if appropriate, schedules me to come back in 3-6 months, sooner if a problem arises. He referred me to a specialist on one occasion. The office staff is friendly and professional; I am 100% satisfied with my treatment to date and plan to continue under Dr. Oldham's care. I find that he is very responsive to my questions and needs and I recommend him highly.

Over prescribes medicine to his patients. No clear game plan for follow up. Treats patients like a number.
