Dr. Gerald G Pope, MD

Dr Pope appears to be hard of hearing. He spent the apt asking a question and writing. I do not feel the questions were specific enough to make a correct diagnosis.

How can one aspect to receive proper treatment when the Doctor can hardly understand you as a patient. Its frustrating not being able to understand him, how can one get the best overall care? When the patient tries to express her/his self and he looks at you as if he has no clue what your saying, it does bode well. You don't leave his office with any level of confidence that your being prescribed the correct drug or told something that can help your life. He seems to be a nice person and maybe a good doctor at one point in time, but those days seemed to have passed almost 25-30 years ago.

Refuses to listen to family members. Believes the words of the delusional patient and not patients support group. Continues the same old same old even though it has never been the right treatment. How is it possible for a mentally ill person to get well when the doctor canâ??t see the big picture?
