Dr. Gerald Allen Price, MD

The most arrogant doctor I have ever met. He will never want to admit he was wrong (be prepared to die rather then get a correct diagnosis) and seems to be bothered by patients. He won't consult any other doctors for help, even when it's obvious he needs to. He should not be a doctor on this planet.

It's difficult to see that this man has not been censured by St. Marks hospital. My experience with Price was very negative. His manner is arrogant and judgemental. In hindsight, I wish that I had asked him to leave my room and never return, that is how abusive this man is.

This man is judgemental and arrogant.

Dr. Price is a busy doctor but took the time to explain the choices we had for my mom after her decline. She always said she never wanted to be on machines. He made sure she was out of all pain and helped setup the hospice care. He respected her choices.

Dr. Price took great care of my mother during her final days. He helped the family understand her condition and the treatment options. She had expressed long ago who she didn't want to be on machines. He helped set up hospice and pain managment.

I have been in and out of the hospital and he is by far the best Dr I've had. I wish I could use him as a Primary Care doctor he only works in the hospital)

This man is not a Doctor! Doctor's do not tell a patient and parents "What Does It Matter" when treating any illness. And they do not "Torture" patients. Not to mention a Doctor should always listen & answer questions. This man's ego does not let him preform his duties with any kind of honesty. On the last day of his torturing her we learn she did have options that we had not learned from him of. So, needless to say I would not let him back in her room after that. I was proven his tactics where wrong in so very many ways since she was given her dignity back as well as things he held back from her like ice chips after she was transferred to Huntsman's Cancer Inst. on of the options we should have been offered days before. With that being said they gave what anyone on this earth should have given compassion. Dr. Price in our opinion has zero compassion which leaves a horrific impression on the person being treated as well as family & loved ones. If I could give this review a negative… rating I certainly would -1000%. Please for the love of God do not accept any treatment from this man! I have requested to file a formal complaint with St. Marks yet to date have not heard back from them. We also want to warn all that Dr. Price is so far from a caring physician it is pathetic that he is allowed to practice medicine on people since I would never take an aminal/pet to him. He was in charge of our daughter's care at St. Marks hospital as her main focusing doctor (hospitalist). He was to contact all other doctor's treating her and give an evaluation then discuss options with her as well as us her parents. He never did that not even once. He would not even stop doing things when told to not do them. ie. cutting of tube to listen to intestinal track. This made her throw up for 4 hours in which after the nurses set it up so it could be done without making her sick. They cared for her unlike Dr. Price to say the least the man was more than rude he was disgusting. The nurses had compassion yet bound by the threat of their jobs they where not able to assist to her needs like they also felt she needed. We knew how bad our daughter's diagnosis was yet he seemed to want her to just go ahead and die. This is no way how any Doctor should act towards any patient regardless of their ego's. If anyone can get St. Mark's to answer my requested to file this complaint formally I would sincerely appreciate it!

When my dad was sick he was able to figure out what was wrong when the other doctor kept saying there was nothing wrong.
