Dr. Gerald Zemel, MD

This doctor installed a port which became infected. When I came to him he insisted it was my fault not his. I wasn’t blaming him but wanted him to do something. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I ended up in the hospital for 10 days. The port was immediately removed. I almost died because of Zemel’s arrogance and bad decision. He should’ve removed the port when he saw it was infected. To this day I suffer consequences of his decision.

Highly professional, excellent job, no pain, answered all questions. I can't imagine where those bad reviews came from? I'm a medical professional and wouldn't hesitate to use Dr Zemel again.

Arrogant, did not provide attention required and severely underestimated a problem. May have surgical skills but lacks in other aspects of treatment equally as important. Would not recommend this doctor.

Dr Zemel did my carotid artery stent surgery. He did an excellent job which was complicated because I have had laryngectome and thyroid surgery. He had no problems even with that. I highly recommend him.

Could care less about what anyone else thinks. No attempt to establish a patient-physician relationship.

Fraudster, only wants to perform unneeded tests to pad bill. Treats some patients with tremendous disrespect and contempt. Acts like an unhinged person. I noticed an unpredictable anger streak. Abandons you as a patient when you most need specialized medical care. Has a sense of disdain if there is a need to examine you. IMO, should not have a medical license. 25 Medical professionals via er and inpatient hospital stay had noticed and examined my situation, felt procedure was needed. This bum takes a one second look at issue and declares all is fine. Again, no rationale, seems to have deep seated mental issues. Do not place your trust in this “doctor”, you will be disappointed.
