I partner with patients who suffer from mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, panic disorders, insomnia,, and addiction. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management when indicated. I work closely with patients to build a therapeutic relationship and to find appropriate medications to treat symptoms. I understand that opening up to a psychiatric provider about mental health struggles can feel vulnerable and frightening. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for patients to seek help and support for their concerns. I prioritize care based on what the patient feels are the most important issues in their life at the time. In addition to medications, I encourage therapy, exercise, mindfulness, and a healthy lifestyle which I believe can be just as important as medication. I graduated with my Master's in Nursing degree from University of Louisville in 2017. I began my career as a psychiatric nurse …practitioner working with children and adolescents. I have worked in rehabilitation facilities for substance use disorders.
