After viewing my damaged optic nerve, Dr. Ardron went out of his way to schedule my surgeries the very next week. My cataracts have worsened and the five month wait "until things settle down" has been difficult, especially since most ophthalmologists perform the cataract surgery at the same time as the express shunt surgery. But I respect his cautious, conservative approach to surgery. Unfortunately, the billing practices at Donaldson Eye Care Associates are dismal, if not illegal. I was told all services were covered by my insurance, only to receive a bill for the anesthesiologist for over $1173. When I confronted the billing department I was offered a $200 per eye price. How many other people just paid that bill with no discount offer? Most of their patients are older and wouldn't know to question this unethical practice, in effect for at least 5 months.

I find Dr. Ardron to be a communicative competent professional for whom I have confidence in supplying any eye care I might require.

Possibly the most intelligent, witty, sensitive doctor I have encountered. He makes you feel at ease with his charming sense of humor, while treating your eyes with the utmost seriousness. I gladly trust him with my sight.
