I would give zero stars. Like most medical offices this one proved no different called on Friday left a message to call me back to make an appointment. Today is Tuesday and still have not heard back from them. How do people keep their jobs.

I agree he is one of the best, but if you have a potentially deadly disease, you will gamble waiting for an appointment for weeks, is it worth it?

Awhile back I discovered a lump in my throat and I was referred to Dr Carvalho . He took such great care of me and the high risk surgery came off flawlessly. When I was looking at least facial numbness and speech impediment for life he pulled off a miracle .No numbness or loss of speech. He gave me great care then as he does today. I consider him not just my great doctor but a friend. He looks you in the eye. Tells you in plain English what's what. Let's you decide how you wish to treat your problem and is honest about all the facts and recomenditions concerning your case. On top of all that he is a nice guy, a good guy, great doctor.

My husband was hurt in a accident and needed to see this person because he was referred. To get an appointment with this person was a hassle and when we arrived they demanded that we give them money up front even though we had met our deductible and had no co-pay. Because we wouldn't pay them money up front they made my husband sit for another twenty minutes while they took all the other patients before us. They also had a very racist attitude towards us because we are an older white couple. The doctor was very short with my husband and man handled him to the point that he almost passed out from the pain he inflicted on him. He was supposed to give him some more time off for his injury but when I went to get the note he decided not to give him any more time off. So my husband is going back to work still dizzy and not well, but this man doesn't care. His staff is the worst. The front office woman is so nasty and racist. NO WAY...will we every go back there again. I canceled… the appointment that I had and the other appointment my husband had. Save yourself the frustration of this place and find a competent doctor.

He's a pretty funny dr, he explains things well to me, will I go back yeah duh, probably to have another operation because I'm still having problems n I think he'll be able to help.

By far the best Doctor in the valley. He is very compassionate and caring. He listens and treats you like a person not a number.

Dr. Carvalho is a rude doctor. He was short with an elderly patient before me and rude to me. I would not recommend this doctor. Also, I had to wait over and hour and a half to be seen even though I had my appt. for about a month.

I had gone to a different doctor and all they offered were surgical options. I went to Dr. Carvalho for a second opinion and boy was he sharp. He gave me several options and went on a nonsurgical route which was awesome. I was so impressed he did my son's tube operation and will do his tonsillectomy. I was impressed by his credentials and the fact that he knew what he was doing. Really straightforward.

I was debating between going here and Loma Linda. However I am so glad I did. Loma Linda you tend to get probed and prodded by students! I was so surprised but it is a teaching hospital but I rather have an experienced doctor who went to top notch Medical school and ear and nose throat program. Dr. Carvalho was very knowledgeable, very matter of fact and gave me advice on how to save money in my treatments! Well worth the visit. I wish more people were like him I can see why he was so popular. I had neighbors and friends see him and so I decided to go. A very bright spot. I sat next to someone who came every year as a snow bird and preferred him over their specialist in Michigan. He looks young but coming from Stanford I was very impressed.

I had to see this doctor but quickly decided he was NOT the one I wanted caring for my family!! Not only was he rude to me but when my loved one was in the hospital, he degraded the nurses and ancillary staff right in front of me! He told one nurse she was incompetent! All because of something my family member did...it was NOT the nurses fault! He is an out right jerk and dropped the "F" bomb when the nurse said he had to sign off his orders once my husband came back from surgery. Its a shame because his father is wonderful! Save yourself a trip and do not use this doctor.
