Dr. Gerard M Casale, MD

I came in for a very simple refill of a prescription. He said he could only give me one refill and if I ever wanted another one I would have to take a blood test. I have an extreme fear of needles and taking a blood test is a horror, which I can't bring myself to undergo except in rare circumstances. And for this prescription it is totally unnecessary, and was never required by any other doctor in the past. So unless I can find another doctor, I will have to forgo the prescription and just suffer without it. I have a chronic illness, so going to the appointment was itself hard, and now I will have to go find another doctor, make another appointment, go to another visit. If I was well it wouldn't be a big deal, but for me this is a major setback. And I expect a doctor to help me! Why should I have to start over with another doctor? This doctor just doesn't care about the effect on the patient's life of his arbitrary decisions and his indifference.

Dr. Casale is easy to talk to and always takes the time to discuss any issues you may have. His office hours make it easy to get an appointment and his staff makes sure that you get in to see him if you have an emergency.

Dr. Casale is a wonderful and caring Doctor with an exceptional bedside manner. Easy to talk to and he listens. Total professionalism.

I have been a patient of Dr. Casale for about 20 plus years. I've never had a problem with him or his staff. His diagnoses have been right on point and he's never steared me wrong and he is quick to refer me to another specialist if needed. He's kind, funny and is very easy to communicate with.
