After a combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester in New York, he did a surgical pathology fellowship at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. He joined Kingsley Lane Pathology Associates in 1987 and helped establish one of the area's first comprehensive immunihistochemistry labs at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. His interests include general surgical pathology and cytopathology, with speciality interests in gynecologic pathology and immunohistochemistry.
