Dr. Skaziak has been helping me with my foot pain for years. He is a conservative Doctor that treats me with Orthotics and exercises. He is very professional with a kind and caring staff.

Dr. Skaziak performed a "temporary" toenail removal for "peronychia" on my first visit before offering or attempting an oral antibiotic or any other conservative treatment. He said an oral antibiotic would not work because there would be a lot of puss under the nail. Immediately after removing it, Dr. Skaziak ssid, "Well, there was no puss." Duringvthe removal, he said the toenail would grow back in 4 or 5 months. It's been 4.5 months with very little, if any, new growth. The care Dr. Skaziak recommended after removing the toenail (peroxide and iodine) seemed to make it worse and he explained that problem by saying, "You're an oozer--not a boozer." A few weeks after removal, Dr. Skaziak tried to explain my slow healing saying, "You hav ed diabetes." I assured him I did not have diabetes and had the lab studies to prove it. Then I found another provider. The wound began to heal after Dr. Grimmett initiated medicated footbaths.
