If u get ur paperwork together, he will examine them cts/MRI . And he offers any type injection one needs that might help. It's up to u. He is an elderly fellow, and in pain management, the large majority will require opiates. Sadly, Florez only writes for short term lasting meds here. Oxy ir, excuse me, roxicodone and hydromorphone. Both are very good medications, but he follows "Fls narcotic suggestions on prescribing" very closely. Anyway, many people are correct, and I've seen patients up and leave because he can be a real horses buttocks. He's getting old I years and he does so many treatments for free , well plus the $300 fee to see him. Degenerate disk, any type of chronic pain w no hope of getting better, and esp if u have no one else to turn to...he's great. They can see u almost immediately as paperwork is received. But trust me, in Florida's overreaction to simply react they've destroyed many excellent drs and worse put lives of chronic pain patients on the line. If u… see Florez begin looking for a better dr long term, who will prescribe the er oot sustained release. If you're a legit pain patient u know the struggle of needing and the blessing of a long lasting er w something IR in between. Whatever works best. The key to opioid meds is to allow the person to whom prescribed the highest quality of life possible. The opioids are the most important to us, typically. But, to be able to swim, coach sports, run or walk...etc...and to work and provide for ones family. Guys, don't let people treat you as if you were a second rate citizen. Suffering is something normal people cannot grasp. But that's fine and hope thay never do! Florez is a good start!

Agree with brilliant. Dr. Florez' is a brilliant dr. Unending knowledge and usually the longest part of the visit, is his examinations.

The most thorough dr I've ever seen. He offers medical procedures most drs charge a lot if money for. He doesnt. Very blunt, but with bed side manner. I was in a hospital before. seeing him. Thank you dr. Florez. You saved my life!

I have two serious chronic problem. Dr. Florez accurately and carefully treated both. I'm not pain free.. Never expect to be, with drs like him around...maybe I'll have a fighting chance.

I've found Dr. Florez to be very kind and mannerly. Could anyone explain, what is meant by no pharmacy will fill his prescriptions. Most pharmacies still practice ethics. Holding back medicines is very serious..and offensive!!!

This Doctor is nothing more than a money hungry pill pusher. I went for my back pain for 6 months and my first visit he asked me what Pills I wanted. I wanted something mild like a Loratab. I could of gotten anything. My daughter was given all kinds of drugs and never even had an MRI done and she paid cash..... Someone needs to get this quack...I saw druggies from out of town all over his office young people. I changed jobs and changed Insurance and they informed me they are not accepting new Insurance...No, they want cash and you can get all you need. If you are a legitimate person don't go here. Junkies go all day

Does not care about his patients at all. I saw him twice before he discharged me because he wanted to give me a pain block injection and I told him I was scared to have it done again./ He stormed out of the room without even talking to me about my fear. I also noticed that he had a lot of out of town patients. He strikes me as a pill mill rather than a legit Dr. I love the degree from Cuba on the wall as well. Stay away unless you have cash and just want pain meds
