Dr. Gerardo J Rodriguez, MD

I have been with this Doctor since 2011 for stage 4 kidney disease. I’m on the kidney transplant list at Shands Hospital. I love the care I get from Dr. Rodriguez and totally recommend him.

Refused to even see my mother because she wanted to pay cash instead of going through her insurance company since they didn't take her insurance. What kind of practice refuses cash that is supposed to be legal-tender for all debts public and private? STAY AWAY from someone like this!!!!!!!!

Very dissatisfied. never listens asks the same questions over and over. never follows thru and office is incompetent let me down more times than i can say!! had to change dr in order to save my life!!!

He seemed hyper. My first time with him and he wondered why I had been referred (and by whom). He already had all that info. from primary physician. I had docs that he had not been provided and he did not read them carefully - this made me have to tell him what he needed to look at. Not satisfied - not needed - will most likely not return.
