Shocked at the er admit process for behavioral health at advent health. A nurse calls the doctor over the phone!!?

Dr. Dimitrova prescribed my mother with medications and we were told that she could not go off of these meds. I called and left her a message that the meds had no refills and to please call me and let me know what we needed to do. It has been 5 days with no return call. For a Dr. to take an oath to do no harm and then leave an elderly patient waiting and worried is neither ethical or professional. Very disappointed as my mother is aging and relied on Dr. D to help.

The best, most compassionate and kind psychiatrist ever! She truly cares about the welfare of everyone and her patients consider themselves blessed to have her treating them.

This woman is incredible. I am so blessed that she is my doctor.

ABSOLUTELY worth waiting for! If you want a psychiatrist that gives you 10 minutes to change or refill RX's, this is not the doc. if you want someone who will listen for as long as you need so she can get an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, she is the best I've ever been to! I have seen psychiatrists for my entire life with depression and bipolar. i have moved all over the country as a military spouse and have literally seen approximately 30 different psychiatrists in my lifetime. I have never had a doctor as intuitive, respectful, caring and responsible regarding her patients as Dr. D. Yes, you will wait for her. But the best is definitely worth waiting for.
