Dr. Gerrianne Burke

I will start out by saying that the staff of the practice where Dr. Burke practices is very pleasant and courteous. I cannot recommend her as a doctor. It was my first visit and I was determining whether to switch over to her care as an internal medicine doctor. I have some challenging chronic health conditions. She was very standoffish and indifferent and not interested in hearing about them. She made me feel like I was wasting her time and I realized I was wasting my own.

My experience with this ‘doctor’ has actually created an anxiety disorder, and I haven’t been able to get other help I need because of “Doctor” Burke. What’s worse is reading other reviews makes mine seem like nothing. I went to this doctor with stomach pains that I had been having for months. The second she heard I take a form of birth control (not asking why I take it), Burke decides I was pregnant. I assured her it wasn’t possible, but to her, it was the problem. She went so far as to yell at me and I drove home in tears, still wondering what was wrong. She made me pay hundreds to get an ultrasound and blood tests which all came back negative. Did she provide any other solution? Of course not. Haven’t even heard from her. She decided it was pregnancy based off of one medication I take and the fact that I am young, dismissed everything I said, and I still have no idea what is wrong with me a year later. She refuses to give me my prescription since I haven’t been in since, however six… months ago I called for my script and they allowed it—— then gave me the wrong thing, costing me hundreds at the pharmacy. I still do not have my medication, a non-a usable prescription that I’ve had for over a decade. There are two reasons for me to go back- 1) To get the prescription I should have gotten six months ago. 2) To tell Ms. Burke exactly how I feel about her methods, attitudes, and bias with her patients.

Dr. Burke was not my regular doctor but I was in a lot of pain from a pinched nerve. She was very short with me, almost rude. She prescribed a medication that I am known to be allergic to. I will not see her again.

I have been a patient of hers for years and will not see anyone else. She has ALWAYS preformed exceptionally in all areas.

Billed insurance company $150.00 and she never entered my room!
