DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST, he is one of the MOST inconsiderate, greedy and unkind dentist practice I have EVER been to. Being distraught. as well as losing my dental insurance a few months ago, I went to Dr Perez looking for help because I chipped one of my front teeth a couple days ago due to a cavity on the back of my front tooth. When moderate expectation, I figured he would charge me a reasonable price, as he was quick and efficient before to my husband last year, but mind you, we had great dental INSURANCE then..."Dr" Perez actually personally MET my husband and he also filled my husband's 4 cavities in a manner of 20 mins. Well, my appt was this am for my front tooth to get fixed and as I got to the office, I began to fill out the paperwork, I had asked the receptionist if there was an atm machine so i can get cash, she said there was one down the street. So, in the POURING RAIN AND SLEET, I went down to the store where the ATM was to get cash. I had to go to ATM because this… generic money hungry NON CARING place does not take personal checks OR even debit/credit cards for that manner, as a convenience to their patients, they take ONLY cold hard CASH! The receptionist FAILED to tell me SPECIFICALLY they ONLY accept cash when I was making my appt! Then, I finally get called back to "see" the dentist, 30 mins LATER that is, and the RUDE, not at all friendly, dental assistant began to take an xray of my tooth, I ask her if the dentist could also fill another cavity i had in the front teeth while I was there (especially since he filled 4 cavities of my husband in 20 mins before) The dental assist was like "NO, just the one tooth today" She then saw I was upset and came back in and took the xray of the other tooth. Mind you, I STILL HAVEN'T MET THE DENTIST YET, I COULDN'T PICK THIS GUY OUT OF A LINEUP, because the unprofessional GREEDY "Dentist" didn't see me once during my WHOLE visit! So, then, the NOT CORDIAL at all dental assist came back in 10 mins later after taking my xrays and said that I needed a root canal on the tooth that was chipped and the dentist couldn't do it today. SHE said the tooth was infected& needed an antibiotic. Mind you, the tooth NEVER ached nor was it swollen or infected (they lied abt the infection to not help me today). Then, real snippity, she said "he can't do ANY of your teeth today because one needs a root canal and he's not worried about the other tooth that has a small cavity"...He was "not worried" abt my cavity?! I BEGGED her to ask the dentist to please do the one tooth with the smaller cavity since I know it takes like 10 mins to do, she said he would NOT do it! I STILL DID NOT GET TO TALK TO OR SEE THE DENTIST AT ALL during this horrible visit because the rude dental assist sent me to the reception to check out and to schedule AGAIN for the root canal. They then charged me $35 for NOTHING, I BEGGED them AGAIN to please do the one tooth that had a smaller cavity because that tooth actually was bothering me, they said NO they won't do it&to come back! The front tooth root canal will cost $500 to fix too! I was in literal TEARS asking them to help me because I don't want to have 2 bad front teeth as I am a Pastor's wife and I have a job I to, STILL they would not do the small cavity. What kind of caring dentist would not even MEET a patient, do an EXAMINATION but then still demand payment? That's the point, he's NOT a CARING dentist, because true caring dentists really are CONCERNED with their patients. It was ALL because I did not have insurance for him to milk that he treated me like garbage! He and his staff treated me like I was a burden to them not a patient. My heart is broken, my teeth are still not fixed and I had one of the worse dental experiences of my life today. I URGE all do not give your business to a greedy non caring dentist even if you have insurance, because like me, you never know when you will lose your insurance and have to pay cash and if so, you don't want him or his office to try to help you because they WON'T!

Dr. Perez was very professional and knowledgable and his staff was able to get me an appointment on short notice due to me leaving for deployment.
