Gerson Valdez Figueroa, MD

Dr. Gerson Figueroa is a cardiovascular disease specialist with additional expertise in interventional cardiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of El Salvador and completed his residency training at both East Tennessee State University and the University of Washington. Dr. Figueroa further advanced his skills through fellowship training at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He holds board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Dr. Figueroa practices at the Northeastern Nevada Heart Center in Elko, Nevada, and maintains hospital privileges at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center. His clinical focus includes treating high blood pressure conditions, including pediatric cases and hypertensive emergencies. He performs diagnostic heart procedures such as electrocardiograms, contrast echocardiography, and transthoracic echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac function and health.
