The waiting time was too long. It has been an hour to an hour and a half each time. He said his patients like to talk so he gives them that time. I appreciate that then scheduling should accommodate that need.

Recently moved here and chose Dr Assefa as mine and my husband's cardiologist. We couldn't be happier. Not only did he order a test for a problem my husband has been having for months with a followup procedure to correct it, but also adjusted my very expensive medications realizing one was unnecessary. He is very kind and his staff is awesome. He never seems rushed or disinterested and takes the time to listen and then evaluate.

He was in a hurry, didn’t take time to explain. Hadn’t even looked at my echo, stress test and monitor when he came in the room. Hard to understand him. Did dictation while in the room, thought that was very disrespectful! Ordered medication sent to wrong pharmacy, told him twice the correct one, I asked again what pharmacy as he was walking out of the room , he told me he sent it to the correct one, he didn’t, took all afternoon to get it straightened out. His staff was great! Would not recommend him or will not see him again!

Absolutely the best experience in a health facility we have seen in a long time.He took time to explain and showed a lot of concern for my mother and I to understand the situation. Thank you.

Dr Assefa has a great personality and a great bedside manner. He listens to my concerns and is on top of a treatment plan for me. His office staff is also very friendly as well as his nurses. Great over all experience at every appointment.

Follow up and set up procedure

I was not the patient, but the caregiver. Dr. Assefa and all of his staff were great. He had a very easy bedside manner. Kind to the patient and included me in the office visit by allowing me to ask questions. Took the time to answer my questions and help me understand so I could better help the patient once we were home. Went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Dr. Assefa.
