Dr. Ghasak Amer Mahmood, MD

It was my first time seeing Dr. Mahmood regarding my hyperthyroidism and she was nothing but kind. She listened to the problems I was having and gave me several options towards how I could treat it. She prescribed me with a medication that my body has responded well to. I got a call from her a month after to see how I was doing and if the prescription was working well, and that really made me happy. Not all doctors will check back with you to see if you're feeling better and her doing that made me realize she cares about her patients.

She's great! Very personable, she listens and gives you plenty of time. She has a good sense of humor and you really feel like she cares!

Great doctor. Has really diagnose my problems. She spends time explaining lab work and recommends course of action . She answers all your questions thoroughly . The office staff needs improvement.

Excellent and thorough medical service!

It took me 2 months to get an appointment with this office and then i waited over 1 hour to see the Dr. I was referred to Dr. Syed in this office and was actually seen by Dr. Mahmood. I agree that it is her way or the highway! She dismissed most of my concerns and even said "let's not waste more time there are patients waiting" I almost walked out in frustration.I've never had a Dr. act this way! Just because I want to stay on natural dessicated Thyroid and do not ever want to take synthetic thyroid

Dr. Mahmood is a very knowledgeable doctor who puts time to listen to all your problems. She explains everything to you so you what your problems are. Dr. Mahmood is very patient. You can ask as many as questions you want. I am very satisfied of my visits to her office and I highly recommend her. Trust me I have seen a lot of doctors and I can say she's the best.

As long as you are honest with your symptoms she will pick apart each one to give a reasoning and a way to help if possible. She has helped me so much with issues out side of my thyroid that people don't think are related to the endocrine system. I never feel rushed out of her office and she really takes the time to analyze everything to make the most accurate diagnosis. And because she values each patient, she might run behind, so I call the office before hand. She has wonderful bed side manner and if there is an issue with labs she calls. I feel she is very knowledgeable in her field and others. I've been going to her over a year now. She does speak fast sometimes so don't be afraid to ask her slow down. =)I truly value her expertise.

This doctor does not listen to the patients concerns. It's her way or the highway. She dismisses your concerns. I would not recommend her to friends or family.
