Dr. Gila Wildfire, MD

First of all it took about 2 hours to be seen. It was my sons 18 month check up and i had my newborn baby with me. Anybody who has kids knows what its like trying to keep a toddler calm for 2 hours in a quiet environment. When we were finally called back I took one look at this lady and knew she was a quack. Her hair has hot pink, purple, and gray streaks in it and she has facial piercings. I thought to myself maybe i shouldnt judge a book by its cover and to give her a chance. BAD DECISION. She has horrible bedside manner and the icing on the cake was when she told me the circumference of my sons head was off the charts for his age group which means its filled with fluids that will need to be drained in an extensive surgery. BUT she will not run a test to back up what she just said for another 6 months at his 2 year checkup! REALLY LADY?!?!? your gonna sit here and tell me something devastating like that and then expect me to live with it for 6 months before you even take the first… step to make sure what your saying is true? Has it ever occured to you that my son just has a big head like his daddy??? (and the crazy part about it is,his head isnt even that big!! just not typical for his age group). So i took him to a real doctor and she assured me there is nothing wrong with my sons head. I highly suggest NOT going to Dr.Wildfire.

I wonder when Dr. Wildfire stopped caring about people or ever cared. She didn't seem interested in helping me. I have a medical issue that is related to the heart and she didn't even bother listening to my heart. I was sent for an Echo and she had someone call me that couldn't even read the results. I asked for her to call me a few days ago with the results and I still haven't heard back. She's a horrible doctor.

I didn't like you have to wait a month or more to see the doctor. I could not get a same day appointment or emergency appointment even though I have a chronic condition and is on medication. I could not talk to the doctor to get my prescription filled, have to call 7 days in advance. Because I didn't know to call in 7 days, I found this out when I called to get a prescription sent to my pharmacy. I was told to go to the emergency room to get a prescription. I feel like I'm just another number and not a patient who is seen as an individual.
