We met Dr. Duxbury after my daughter doctor of 4 years moved out of state. On this first visit with him we were told it was time to schedule our daughters spinal fusion. Of course we were apprehensive due to only knowing this man for a few minutes. But we scheduled the surgery, and are so glad that we did. Dr. Duxbury is an amazing doctor, he spent 6 hours operating on our daughter and making her spine and her incision look beautiful. He is very down to Earth and funny. You can tell that he truly cares for his patients. We will forever be grateful to him for helping our daughter and making her recovery a breeze. As a mother and a nurse, I highly recommend him.

My son had a T3 toL3 spinal fusion surgery for Scoliosis over a year ago. He is doing excellently. I would recommend Dr. Duxbury in an instant. Very professional, patient and caring. His post surgery follow ups were absolutely fantastic.

I don't recommend this doctor for any child. I brought my daughter into to see him for the first time. He never once asked me about my daughters medical history, instead he looked at her diagnoses and told me not to expect her to live past 3 years old, and there is nothing he can do to provide support for her hips. He was very condensing when I tried to inform him of new advanced treatments for her. He treated my daughter like she was a lost cause. I was in complete shock that a pediatric doctor would talk to a parent like that.

The staff in the office are great the doctor is not. I found the doctor to be very condescending and laissez-faire about the information I shared with him about my daughter's history. The doctor seems incompetent at best. He had the nerve to tell me a pain medication prescribed by an ER doctor was a anti-depressant in front of my 15 year old child which upset her immeasurably. He then cam back and said he made a mistake about that. I will never take my daughter to this person again.
