Very rude. Doesnt care about patients.

The office clerical staff does the bare minimum. I am guessing they must be relatives of the doctor in order to have such bureaucratic attitudes. When asked a simple question regarding a home sleep test the doctor had requested I received a shrug of the shoulders as if to say "not my job" and was directed to call a number and investigate the matter myself. I nearly wasted 5 hours of my time driving to OKC to receive a home sleep test and simple instructions on how to setup. All home sleep test companies I have researched ship the monitoring device to your door, return shipping bill included, with a DVD and clear instructions on how to setup. Next time I will stick with Dr. Smithton Corby. I am sure his office would have handled this smoothly, efficiently, and politely.

Dr. Emde has been extremely helpful in assisting me in dealing with a very difficult medical issue. His staff respond to phone calls in a timely manner, and he is more than diligent in pursuing the best options for managing my illness. He will work with you to get an answer, and I trust his advice implicitly. You usually have to wait a long time in the waiting room for your appointment, but if it's to see a doctor who knows what he's doing, it's well worth it.

Dr. Emde is a Joke. He might have been a good doc once but not now. He has the memory of a two year old. Wont refer you out so someone can really find out whats going on. Suffered with him for five years because my insurance wouldn't cover anyone else. Cares very little if you are in pain. More worried about your memory and sleep problems even if you don't have any. Will not write a statement about your condition even if it is debilating and you cant work. Refuses to sign anything for SS disability, even a simple statement that he is your Doctor. Go see him if you like going to the doctor every three months and like pain. I only give him one star because zero isn't a choice.
