Dr. Gilbert "Gil" Selkin, M.D., DMD

I want to start by saying that this was by far the most amazing experience when I had lack of experience and understanding of what was happening. I went in for Mohs surgery and came out with a bigger hole than planned. Dr. Selkin was amazing in repairing my face. He told me that in office was not going to be the best place for me and that I needed surgery for the repair. I was terrified and didn’t know what to expect. He did amazing work, and even took the time during his holiday weekend to answer my personal text about questions I had. His office team has been amazing and flexible too. I’m so thankful that I trusted my gut and found someone who really cares about their patients.

I had an urgent problem they led to extraction and they bent over to get me worked in on their schedule. The experience was fantastic for oral surgery lol. Great personalitys, and informative and all that. Brand new office all state of the art. They even had to improvise mid surgery. Dr. Selkin himself worked on my wacky case. The doctor is just a badass. And that?s what u want to take your teeth out. Now that I?m awake I can see how detailed they were throughout the process that I didn?t catch because I was in pain. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Selkin truly is!! He helped me greatly in a time of need. I had suffered facial fractures and required surgery. However, I waited longer than I should've to get the procedure. Dr. Selkin identified this on my first visit to his office. I saw him on Monday and 6 days later I was having my operation. Dr. Selkin literally had to remove my upper face and put it back together and even after 2 weeks there were no visible signs. He went out of his way to check on me personally and he single handedly guided me through my recovery and the entire healing process. Dr. Selkin was a blessing for me in my situation. He is like an angel in human form!! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Selkin! His staff is also very kind and helpful. Dr. Selkin is the BEST and I would recommend him everyday of the week!

I was referred to Dr. Gilbert Selkin by my dermatologist when a biopsy determined I had squamous cell carcinoma on my nose. I was somewhat concerned until meeting with Dr. Glibert and his team who quickly put me at ease. Unlike experiences other people I know had, I was able to have the affected area removed, examined while in the office and proceed with the skin grafting in one visit. The recovery time, follow-up and final outcome could not have been any better. Today, you can't even detect that I a procedure done because there are no scars or tell-tale signs. I highly recommend using Dr. Gilbert and his team.

Let me start by saying that I never write reviews, but Dr. Selkin and his staff deserve one. My son needed all 4 of his wisdom teeth taken out, but there was a concern of using sedation because of a family history of Malignant Hypothermia. Dr. Selkin took the time to find us a doctor that would do genetic testing on my son to rule it out. No doctor has ever done that before! I explained this to Dr. Selkin, and he said that we are all patients at some point. He cared so much about my son’s safety, and made it a priority. After receiving the test result which was negative, we scheduled the surgery. Dr. Selkin met with us prior to surgery, and said he would take precautions anyway. The whole office were wonderful and took excellent care of my son. He has had no complications, and has not needed any pain medication. Dr. Selkin is one amazing surgeon whom I highly recommended, and his staff are exceptional!! Marlene & Michael

After extensive research, our family chose Dr. Gil Selkin for wisdom teeth extraction for all three children. (Two were teens, one in his twenties.) Our oldest had a more complicated case due to his physiology, but Dr. Selkin expertly performed the surgery producing no negative outcomes. (no dry socket or nerve damage) Prior to surgery, Dr. Selkin reviewed the x-rays with me and clearly explained what the surgery would entail. He is a very intelligent, well-educated, highly-skilled and experienced surgeon--and he really cares about his patients! I am so grateful that I found Dr. Gil Selkin.

Dr. Selkin recently performed the removal of a cancer on my ear which was completely successful. I initially resisted because I take blood thinners. He assured me that this wouldn't be a problem. It wasn't an issue. I immediately gained a strong bond with Dr. Selkin and had complete trust in him. I am exceedingly happy with the results of this surgery. Everything the Doctor told me was true to the word. He is a Doctor's Doctor and a Patient's Dream Doctor.He has very high character attributes and integrity.He made me feel completely comfortable with the surgery. I would use him and the personnel at the clinic again and recommend him to anyone. I provide an unqualified recommendation for Dr. Selkin and his practice. He is the best Doctor on the Planet at what he does for his patients.

Dr.Selkin is such an awesome surgeon his Enjoyment of work shows not only through his proformance but also through his staff, you can tell everyone is this practice loves their job and position from the first phone call to the goodbye leaving the office, I felt like I was the only patient in the office because my family and I have been treated so well. I would highly recommend Dr.selkin to anyone. This practice is a one stop shop :) from my daughters wisdom teeth being removed, to my husband and mother being treated for skin cancer and myself getting Botox and fillers everything was super smooth for all of us! It's actually enjoyable being in the office, everyone is so friendly but i obviously love the work Dr.selkin has done for my family and myself! Very friendly, professional, prompt, funny and straight forward guy! Hands down best dr visit we had!
