Dr. Gilberto Ruiz, MD

I spent many hours in the emergency room with Dr. Ruiz as my sons doctor, he is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life !!! He has zero bedside manners and zero compassion. He did a CT scan on my son for abdominal pain( which my son had done just eight hours prior to this visit) he refused any pain medicine to help relieve the pain. When the results from the CT scan came back he comes in to tell me they did not find anything wrong, I proceed to tell him again that colon cancer and ulcerative colitis run in my family can we run some test to check for any type of GI problems, he tells me they do not do those types of test in the emergency room I would need to find a doctor out in town ! He told me that he can only tell me what's not wrong with my son and will be discharging him . I told him I'm no doctor but I too can tell you what's not wrong with my son and he tells me I'm just an over worried mother. I would NEVER see this man again and recommend if you go to the ER and… he's your doctor RUN and do not let him anywhere near your loved ones. If I could give him negative stars I would please be careful with him, he just does not care about people only wants to waste your time and collect as much money as possible.
