Dr. Gillian Josephine Stuart, MD

I had to have emergency surgery on January 2. Dr. Stuart came right in, gave me the rundown, explained the CT and told me what was going to happen. She was amazing. I have a while before I am fully healed but she is hanging right in there with me. A breath of fresh air!

Had to have a surgery and was referred by my PCP. Dr Stuart is the best doctor I've had the pleasure to consult with. She's kind, professional, patient, a wonderful listener and above all, she's a warm, compassionate human being whose chair is never any higher in the room than yours (she has no ego, no airs about her). She took the time to explain the procedure, guided me through my apprehension with no rush, no judgement. It's like she's found and is following her purpose, her mission in life and that love radiates from her! Please consider choosing Dr Stuart - she will make the nerve-wracking endeavor of needing surgery as comforting as possible.

I was sent from Metroplex ER to Seton Hospital per lack of beds at other institutes. Dr Stuart looked after me in and later performed surgery in my month long journey of healing. She was able to get me well enough to do surgery electively & not emergency to avoid having a colostomy bag. She checked on me each day and gave straight facts as to my situation and kept me advised every step of the way. She prayed with me in the hospital when I felt it was all too much and her knowledge, compassion and confidence were nothing like I had ever experience with other doctors. She is excellent in every way and she undoubtedly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her. Her office staff is just as excellent. I had questions after going home from surgery and could not get a hold of the nurse at the hospital that was given to me if needed so I called the Doctors office and was given a prompt answer and really felt like I had a team on my side with Dr. Stuarts staff.

I appreciated Dr Stuart's whole demeanor. She took her time and explained things very clearly.
