How about zero stars?! Had a derm appt for a possible and potentially serious problem. I am a PA for 49 years/ husband was an MD for 53yrs. We had a private medical practice since 1981 where we provided quality care to our patients… and as a result patients came from everywhere to our practice from as far away as Florida, Indianapolis, St. Louis.. in addition we had many medical Doctor patients and their families come to see us referred by patients that had already been to our practice. The receptionist asked me for the spelling of my name five times, she asked me for my email address five times and for my date of birth several times maybe four times.. the PA asked me what I wanted her to do for me! I believe that after having provided my medical history, it was incumbent upon her to tell me what she thought, to give me her professional medical opinion, I did not get that. I have referred many patients to this dermatology practice in Danville.. I was totally unimpressed.. when I… mentioned that I would need some lab work, there was a hesitancy to do any lab work.. the PA said that she would have to run it by her supervising physician. I don’t know how much of my history that I provided her was relayed to her supervising physician, but the doctor did not even meet me, in spite of the fact that I am a medical professional, as we would do in our practice, and the doctor stated that I probably did not have what I was concerned enough about to seek a derm appt. She did not personally come in to look at what I had with her own eyes. . So they agreed to do some lab work… but not what I would have ordered for a patient with my case presentation. So I had not received the email link for the patient portal to look at my test results. So I waited 24 hours which was 48 hours from the time I had been seen… so I called and found out that they emailed me the link to the patient portal to the wrong email address!!!I was able to get on the patient portal to check my lab work… and there was one pending because I know that that takes sometimes even a week to get.. but I checked today and low and behold I have a test on my patient portal that I did not have done. I am a female and do not have a erectile dysfunction last I checked… but there was a test report on my patient portal for that!! This should not happen at all. The Art of medicine replaced by the business of medicine.End of discussion. And finally, I could not submit my review unless I gave some stars..
