Gina Mueller, DDS
Dr. Gina Mueller is a 1997 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a 2001 graduate of the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry. She joined Shorewood Family Dental Care in 2001 and became a partner in 2005. She comes from a family with deep roots in dentistry, as her grandfather, Mr. Lucien Caruso founded the Ottawa Dental Laboratory in 1936. Her father has been making porcelain crowns and veneers at the laboratory since 1970. As a student working her way through school, Dr. Mueller was an employee of the lab, making crowns, dentures, and delivering cases to local dentists.
Dr. Mueller resides in Ottawa with her husband Craig, a teacher and coach at Ottawa Township High School, and their American Bulldog, Duke. In her free time she enjoys running 5Ks, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She was excited to finish the Indianapolis Half Marathon on May 2, 2009!Â
She volunteers her time at the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic …providing free dental care to those in need. One of her goals is for the young patients of SFD to enter adulthood needing only routine dental care. This is accomplished with preventative and proactive dentistry. Dr. Mueller is grateful for the opportunity to treat patients of all ages with the same respect and care she would give to her own family.Â
