Dr. Gina Gail Chandler, MD

Dr chandler is the best. I no she will take the best care of me that is possible and then more.

I met Dr. Chandler in 2010, when she treated my husband at the hospital. When they "met" (he was in a coma for the first 8 days) he had a balloon in his heart to help it work. The doctor assigned to him gave me every indication that they had little hope of helping him. One actually said his heart was "crap". BUT Dr. Chandler worked her magic and he is home doing great today. We keep our appointments with her and would be heartbroken (maybe literally) if we lost her as my husband's heart doctor. Would not consider changing to any other now.

It is so easy to have a doctor that doesn't care and will lead you on when you don't really need it. Dr. Chandler is different. I recently had an appointment where we both agreed her services were no longer needed. I believe she has the best interest in all of her patients. Her common sense relayed into laymen's terms is refreshing. She will spend time with you during your appointment to explain what is going on with you and make suggestions on what you should do to get better. If there is an urgent situation, she will tend to you and give you the proper tests and treat it appropriately. If you need a cardiologist, I highly recommend her.

After recently being diagnosed with high blood pressure and diabetes, I was also referred to Dr. Chandler. I was extremely nervous because this was a new area for me as I had been relatively healthy all my life. My visit could not have been any more pleasant. From the staff that greeted me, performed all the tests, explained patiently my insurance coverage, my medications to be administered etc., I was at ease. Dr. Chandler sat with me patiently and explained every detail and answered any questions I had. She even showed me pictures explaining what was happening within me. I guess she knew me well enough at this point to know I was a visual person. :) My family and I are very thankful for such a caring and efficient Dr and her staff. Even their follow-up phone calls show not only their professionalism, but the fact that they honestly do care about the lives of people. God bless you all.

I feel that Dr. chandler, when i see her in the office is nice, to the point, and a pull no punch doctor, and this i like, however on the other hand i don't feel she is as explicit as she could be when explaining test results. When in the hospital her nurse practioner appear to have sole respsonsibility for your care even though doctor chandler is at the hospital she doesn't see you. my last hospital visit was chest pain and leg pain. I went all night without my blood pressure medication, the nurse said that dr. chandler was notified to get an order and i was told by the nurse that she didn't give an order and said that she would be to see me in a few miniutes and she was going to send me home. My husband said that she was there because he saw her at the nurses station but she never came in to see me. The nurses changed shifts, and the last nurse told me when i asked her when someone was going to tell me something the nurse told me that Dr. Chandler said that she was coming to see me,… and i would be out of the hospital before 5:00 P.M. taht day. I felt hurt because i couldn't understand how she could make any kind of decision about me without first seeing me and talking to me. I was discharged by her physicians assistant. Dr. Chandler came in with her assistant and discharged me, and she did not examine me before discharging me. She merely said that she was letting me go home, and i was fine. She presented herself in the same manner as she does while in the office. The cocerns that i had with my overall care while in the hospital was 1. while she was present in the hospital as my physician she didn't think enough of me or respect me enough to come see me or give an order for me to be given my medication that was prescribed by her knowing i have uncontrolled blood pressure problems. 2. It concerns me when any physician will allow an assistant to discharge a patient and when she makes an appearanc and complete the discharge without even examining the patient, that makes me feel that the doctor isn't very caring. When i came home i pulled my labs and my ekg's that were done in the emergency room i found it to the following: possible left atrial enlargement, septal infarct, abnormal ECG, however, the only explanation that i recieved was from her or her assitant was that everything was o.k. I was not given a follow up appointment or anything. I won't be going back to see her again.

DR CHANDLER HAS BEEN MY HEART DR SINCE ABOUT 2002.I HAD OPEN HEART SURGERY SHE HELPED SAVE MY LIFE.IF IN NEED OF A HEART DR. SHE IS WONDERFUL.VERY OUT SPOKEN NEVER HAVE TO WONDER WHAT SHE FEELS YOU NEED TO DO.I AM SO BLESSED THAT SHE IS MY DR.

When my husband became very ill, Dr. Chandler was the only doctor that gave us any hope of his pulling through. Under her care, he did improve and is now home again. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a heart doctor.
