Dr. Gina Gay Harney

I have been a customer of this office for 9 years. Recently I had an appointment that I had to cancel. I called to cancel it. Then closer to the appt I got a text confirming it, which I texted back saying I had canceled it. A few weeks later I got a bill for $50 for a no show appt. I called them and told them I had canceled it (twice). They transferred me to the girl in billing who basically said I was lying and that their employees didn’t make mistakes like that. They wouldn’t take the charge off. I spent quite a bit of money there in 9 years (thanks to my fair skin), but losing me as a customer wasn’t important to them.

Unorganized staff. Doctor said she hadn’t read up on my condition in decades. Referred me to a specialist WHO NO LONGER HAS A PRACTICE/OFFICE. Waste of money and time, only to be told I’d have to schedule another appt to have something else checked out.

There has not been a single review in over two years I would say all of these are invalid and need to be taken down.

I went to this doctor for a simple procedure. that could have been taken care of in one visit. Instead I was examined, given antibiotics, told to return in two weeks to check if there had been any progress. If not they would schedule me for the procedure. In other words, 3 doctor visits. I called an alternative Dr. and the procedure was done in one visit. I will not be returning to Dr. Harney's office.

No offense to Dr.Harney but her PA "Ace" needs to go. He is a huge jerk.. He's full of himself.. He's rude and we will not be returning to the office because of him!! I feel bad for Dr.Harney because Ace makes it look bad on her too.

I have tried to see Dr Harney and she has been unavailable for several months. The PA is very abrupt and in my opinion not very professional. Medication prescribed made my condition worse and was very expensive.

Do NOT go here!!! You don't even see Dr Gina Harney. You see her physician assistant with awful bedside manner. He joked about my biopsy and results. Office staff is disorganized and so shady about what they say is free and then what they bill you for.

Dr Harney's office diagnosed my dad's Melanoma years ago. So, I had high hopes. I saw Dr. Harney for a mole check of entire body. She didn't even look over my entire body, including my scalp. When I asked her to look at my scalp because I had some cysts/knots, she acted aggravated & said that my hair stylist should check my scalp. Say what???? I told her that I cut my hair myself. She quickly looked and did not even mention the cysts on my head. She also did not measure or note any of my dysplastic moles. Since I've had 20 Dysplastic moles removed and a family history of cancer including Melanoma - I won't go back!!!!

I just read a few other reviews and I'm shocked. I had an appointment with Ace, the PA and he could not have been better. I have seen many dermatologist over the years and he was BY FAR the best. He diagnosed my problem and gave me samples of what he was prescribing for me. He told me to use the samples FIRST before filling the prescription to save me $ and to make sure it was effective. His staff was wonderful. I did not wait at all, and was out in no time. I find it odd that "Stephen" a reviewer within 2 days gave him a bad review. Seems fishy to me. Do not hesitate to make an apppointment here. You will be so glad you did.
