Dr. Gina Marie Volpe, DO

The 1st time I met Dr Volpe, I was uncomfortable right from the minute she came into the room. She spoke to me in a way that was very demeaning. When she prescribed a new RX for me, I went to quickly google it and she yelled "I DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOU TO SIT HERE AND LOOK IT UP." I was shocked and speechless. I respectively told her that I felt uncomfortable with the visit and I think that made her mad. We spoke briefly and towards the end of the visit she was going to grab a document to give me and I politely/quietly refused and said, No thank you and she said "I WILL GET IT ANYWAY". I was numb and nervous. I've never had a doctor treat me like that before, let alone write a bad review about anyone in a high position such as herself. I hope I never have to cross paths with someone like her again. She is NOT a good person.

I have been a patient of Dr. Volpe for many years. She has caring bedside manners and remembers not only your medical history but your personal life as well. She is quick to call back after hours. Her office staff is kind and able to schedule your appointment in a time that's convenient for you.

I JUST LOVE DR. VOLPE, SHE HELPED ME OUT SO MUCH. HOWEVER DO NOT CARE FOR THE DESK PEOPLE, BUT CAN DEAL WITH THEM BECAUSE SHE IS A FANTASTIC DOCTOR.

I went here for 9 years before I had enough. Staff are extremely disorganized and rude. If you call with any questions they act like they are doing you a huge favor to help you. Dr Volpe treats you as if you are below her and unable to understand anything. When told about rude front staff, she tells you it's your fault they were rude.

I came in last week (she’s been my doctor for years since I was an early teen) And told her I’d been struggling with anger and depression. She was extremely interested in my well being and social life. She prescribed me a medication and after a week of taking it I feel happy again. It’s like a weight has been lifted and she’s to thank for it!! Thank you so much ??

I was a patient of Dr. Volpes when she practiced in both Elyria and Westlake Ohio. I was very impressed with her. She showed genuine concern with my care, and always followed up to see how I was doing. She also saw my Husband. When we went in, if only one of us had an appointment, she still showed compassion and spoke to the other as if they were also being seen, just checking to see how they were doing. Her whole demeanor was very caring. I wish she would come to Parma Ohio where I now live so I could return to being her patient

Front staff is extremely rude. Dr. constantly forgets my history even though I've been going there for 10 plus years and she is hard to get ahold of if I need information or paperwork sent to another provider. Also the wait time from the time I enter the office to when I actually see the doctor is usually at least an hour. Front staff is my biggest complaint. I feel insignificant they often won't acknowledge my presence because they are too busy arguing who has to deal with what phone call and what they are ordering from the coffee shop. I will be finding a new primary care physician as my last several appointments have all been this disappointing and similar.

Dr Volpe is very prompt and thorough and has exceptional beside manner. I have been seeing her for five years.

My whole family comes here (elderly mother, myself, and children), and I can't stress enough how great this office is. If my child is ever sick, even if Dr. Volpe's appointments are full for the day the receptionists will always find a "spot" for us! They never turned away my sick child. As a single mother I came in for an office visit with my children, and the visit would have been an unpleasant one with the kids in the room with me. Dr. Volpe asked the receptionists if they would keep an eye on the kids and they a said yes without hesitation! We love this office! Thank you for being so awesome to us.
