Felt so neglected and ignored under her care. She felt too confident to assess further. I am now having multiple complications and further problems due to her negligence.

Dr. Gottschalk is the best.

I've had a lot of good doctors in my life... but this is not one. If you want a long term doctor to take care of all your issues, you'll want to choose someone else. I really wanted a GP for life, someone I felt safe with, could confide in, have my back.. I was so disappointed with her. She is not trained to handle more than sore throats. I also felt like at my age, 60, I was told after having issues with arthritis, back problems, hip problems, that I was just "getting old" and no treatment was offered. I needed a colonoscopy, a mammogram, and a physical for this last year, but I had no orders given although she said she'd write some. Also for PT. I had a suspicious pap smear that was never followed up on. I was receiving medications for an emotional disorder ( she made me feel *crazy* ) and she was unable to understand the effects of drug withdrawal because she suddenly decided to stop writing my prescriptions and I went through a terrible withdrawal and had to seek help with… inpatient hospitalization. Any further issues I had.. I emailed her and she didn't call and talk to me about her desire to "drop" me as a patient, she had her nurse call. Told me to get another doctor and that I should stop emailing her. I was really disappointed with her. Again, if you want a doctor for life, a person you can trust and depend on... this is not the doctor for you. Her experience is very limited.
