Dr. Giora Hahn, MD

Dr Hahn is the biggest jerk in the history of doctors. I was a patient of his for years and I had a scheduled appointment with him. I drove 30 miles to my appointment and he just sat there staring at me. Then he said “I’m not going to treat you anymore.” No explanation or anything, he was a complete jerk!!! I told his nurse what had happened and she was very upset because it was uncalled for and he totally defied the Hippocratic oath. I would NEVER recommend this person to anybody!!!

Dr. Haun has always taken the time to listen to me. Allowed me to be involved in my care and does not allow anyone, including myself, to manipulate him. He is a strong patient advocate and does not judge a person for the decisions they have made in the past. Being able to keep your dignity while being treated is crucial in my opinion, for any patient to trust in their doctor and what they believe is in your best interest. Thank you!

Dr. Hanh is the absolute best at pain management! He takes the time to really listen to you and he truly cares about getting everything right! I have suffered from debilitating chronic back pain for most of my life and this wonderful doctor has given me hope and has gotten me back up on my feet again. Also I have been able to lose 40 pounds . Thank you Dr HAHN

THIS doctor is horrible. Refuses to treat pain even though he is a pain doctor.

Pretty much what Sky said applies here. How about doing a problem solving approach, not starting out by saying there is nothing I can do. Perhaps a blessing because I would definately not want to go down his road.

Lazy, poor follow through, totally ineffective treatment. One of the few doctors I've ever known, whom I'd never see again.

Dr. Giora Hahn is not for everyone. In fact, if you want a doctor to listen deeply to you and to joke with you about a basketball game or a doctor who will tell you what you want to hear, Doctor Hahn is not for you. Remember the scene in Pulp Fiction where Samuel L. Jackson opines, "Personality goes a long way"? If that is your barometer for doctor/patient relations than avoid Dr. Hahn at all costs. He will barely speak to you, is uncooth to the point of rudeness, and as blunt as a sledgehammer all while clearly having a very elitist opinion of himself and the medical community in general. Having said all of that, you will not find a pain management doctor in the Western Slope of Colorado. I firmly believe that. If you were going into battle he wouldn't be the funny guy that gets you through the bad times with his humor--that's a given. However there is no doubt that I'd want to share a foxhole with him with the whole of the Japanese Army banzai charging at me. He is the type… of person that gets things done. I'd give him a 3.5/4 star rating. You should add a half a point if you are blunt and obnoxious your self and you should deduct a point and a half if you'd rather have your doctor hold your hand and rub your tummy. Doctor Hahn is a professional's doctor. He does not care what your favorite color is, your sign, your dog's name. His appointment with you will be shorter than Forrest Gump's record time for sex but he will address your problems quickly and he will do it with punctuality. Who says personality goes a long way?
