Dr. Girum Ketema Feyissa, MD

My 86 year old Mother was in Cape Fear Valley Hospital for over 1 month after suffering a bad fall in her house. Dr. Feyissa was her Doctor for the entire time she was in the hospital. For the entire time she was there she was treated professionally to the letter and this outstanding Doctor checked on her multiple times a day to make sure she was getting better or if there was anything that she possibly needed or wanted. All I know is that if I ever get sick or need to be in Cape Fear Valley Hospital I would want Dr. Feyissa to take care of me. My 86 year old Mother was discharged from the hospital and she is much better now that she is back home. Thank you again Dr. Feyissa for everything that you did for my Mother...!

I have been in and out of the hospital countless times over the last few years due to a chronic lung disorder. During my most recent hospitalization I had the pleasure of meeting and being a patient of Dr. Girum Feyissa. He was the most attentive, thoughtful and caring physician I have EVER had. (And I've had MANY.) He listened to me. He didn't talk down to me. He treated me like a person and not just a patient. Whether I was in physical pain or in fear of my condition worsening, his smile and manner calmed me every time. He simply was, and is, the best doctor I have ever had.
