Dr. Giselle Sarah Mosnaim, MD

I should have not waited this long to address Dr. Mosnaim poor doctor-patient relationship. I went to her office at Northshore Glenbrook Hospital Outpatient Building. First, she prescribed me Montelukast, a drug that should be the last resort since it causes serious nervous (hallucinations, sleep problems, headaches ,etc) for my allergy. I took only one dosage and I had sleep problems. When I told her, she changed it to a discontinued drug. That should tell you what kind of doctor she is. Then it took two weeks, to answer my questions in regards to my tests results. Since she didn't think my test results were that important, she refused to reply back. It took five nurses asking her to follow up so she could called me back without apologizing and telling me that my test results were not that important since they were not going to impair my health. Mind you, her services were not covered by my insurance provider, so I'm paying her for her bad services. In summary, Please don't go to… her. She does not care about a good doctor-patient relation at all

Dr. Mosnaim is really helpful and kind! She carefully examined me, and listened to me. She didn't force me to do anything I didn't want to (like a nebulizer treatment I didn't feel I needed right then), and took into consideration my feelings about what has worked for me and what hasn't. She was clear about what other tests I needed to do, and prescribed medicines based on what has worked for me in the past, including a medicine I had gotten via nebulizer in an emergency room, which I can now take at home. It saves me a trip to the ER! Love this doctor! Highly recommended!
