I have been a patient of Dr Vaids for 25 years. I also work in the mental health field and believe me she is beyond excellent in comparison to many other Doctors. The person who stated she hands out meds like candy is ridiculous, that is absolutely not the case. She is professional, compassionate and has always been there for me whenever I needed her. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a quality provider.

Dr. Gita is highly recommended for her work with Ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Gita is extremely compassionate, empathetic and a good listening. She demonstrates being very smart and insightful.

I was with you in school. You are a below average doctor and not a particularly nice person. Paying a company to write 5 star reviews online for you is pathetic. You will not become world famous for that. You are what you are. Have some shame. I would however point out that your sister is actually a much worse doctor and more horrible person which I suppose is quite hard to do.

I was VERY over-medicated under her care to the point of numbness. At one point, I was on 5 different medications for my anxiety and depression, including Ativan 4x day. She hands out meds like candy. This is not just my opinion -- every mental health-care provider I've spoken to since then have been shocked at the cocktail I was on. She is also impossibly difficult to get a hold of, even in an emergency. I was admitted to the ER at one point and none of the doctors there could get in touch with her the entire day I was there. She never followed up on me after. My therapist also tried calling and emailing her several times to schedule a time to consult with her over my care, and couldn't get in touch with her. I could not have made a better decision for my mental health and overall wellbeing when I switched psychiatrists.

Dr. Vaid is the most gifted psychiatrist that I have had the honor and privilege to work with. She was born for this profession and we have forged a trusting working relationship. I look forward to seeing her each week.
