Dr. Glen Alexander Gallimore

This dentist could not be more outdated and stuck in the past century. He is lazy, sloppy and not ever present when he is in the room. Very strange vibe that is uncomfortable from the moment you walk through the door. His office manager writes her own reviews in order to keep his five-star rating up. Zero transparency. Do yourself a favor and go to any other dentist in the valley.

Dr. Gallimore was very kind and thorough.

One of my crowns looked suspiciously dark, underneath by my gum line and when I expressed my concern I was told by him "that's just the material the crown is made from". When it began to bother me I went in for another x-ray and was given a referral for a root canal. I received my root canal ($1,200.00 later) and within a few weeks my tooth broke off at the gum line when I was flossing. This LAZY dentist should have been SMART enough to "investigate" (shall we say) the problem and insure the tooth was still okay under the old crown BEFORE sending me out with a referral to have a root canal done. Dentists have the ability to remove an older crown (insurance would have covered a new crown for this tooth) to actually insure that there isn't ANY ADDITIONAL DECAY that has started since it was capped, especially if it is causing a patient pain. Or maybe he was concerned about the patient not having sufficient insurance to cover the procedure....NOT THE CASE AT ALL. He failed by… referring me without doing his job...I paid $1,200.00 for a root canal that lasted two weeks AND lost my tooth. He didn't even spend one minute looking at my tooth, he just starting writing out the referral. It is not the Endodontics responsibility to look "under the crown" is it? This guy is lazy, not present and always seems to be "somewhere else" in his mind. We went to him because he accepted our insurance. Ironically bills are generated and sent to patients with "outstanding balance" and "insurance has paid" highlighted on them. BEWARE: their "billing department" sends out monthly bills for the "OVERAGE" or in other words, the amount OVER what the insurance company ALLOWS a contracted dentist with them to charge the patient. That is so disappointing and unethical. Overall a very SAD and COSTLY lesson learned the hard way. Keep looking for a dentist, we shouldn't have to challenge and explain to his "experienced staff" that they are not allowed to by law to bill the patient for the amount OVER what they have contracted with the insurance company to charge.

WOW! If I could give it -5 stars I would. I arrive and explain I have dental anxiety, two broken teeth, waited 3 weeks for an appointment with this dentist who was supposed to have a good reputation. I was told by my Oral surgeon I would be treated like family and my comfort was key. How WRONG they were. The dental assistant, who seems to hate life just as much as she hates herself and being a dental assistant, tells me they will NOT make me comfortable for a check up. Even though I had exposed nerves, broken teeth, nope no comfort for me. And if I couldn't suck it up for the examine, I should go somewhere else. AFTER WAITING FOR HIM for 3 WEEKS THEY TELL ME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I HAVE A BROKEN TOOTH, I NEED TO BE NUMB. HOW WAS THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND? I don't know if she was just dumb or not listening, but I bet it was a little of both. After expressing my outrage at them NOT taking my comfort into consideration, the lazy assistant eyed me up and down and laughed. REALLY? You are… clearly a much older woman, ACT LIKE IT. I didn't expect to get smirked at by a over the hill woman when I refused to let them cause me pain without proper sedation. Customer service is non existent. YOU ARE NOT A DOCTOR, you are a DENTIST. Remember that. BE PROFESSIONAL. Remember that as well. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND COMFORT *DOES* COME FIRST WHEN IT COMES TO NEEDLES AND DRILLS. Was it worth the awful attitude of your assistant to ruin your offices reputation? You reap what you sew and your office was the worst I have seen in Vegas by far. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Find a dentist who cares about you and your comfort while in the char. Not one who only wants to line their pockets while their incompetent assistant pretends she actually does anything correctly. WORST DENTIST AND DENTAL STAFF IN VEGAS. PERIOD.

Dr. Gallimore is the greatest!!! His chairside manner is Exemplary!!! I just love him to pieces.

Dr. G and his staff are very friendly and helpful and get you in and out of his office in a timely fashion.

Dr. Gallimore at 702DENTIST (www.702-dentist.com) is awesome which is why I'm posting this. Reasonably priced, very caring family dentist who takes his time and does excellent work. They are open on Saturday which is the only day I go!
