Glen Marsey

I am an LCSW with more than 30 years experience. I am a graduate of Lindenwood University with an MA in Counseling Psychology and achieved my LCSW Licensure in 1991. I have been employed in many varied specialties of counseling including working with at risk adolescents, victims and perpetrators of physical and sexual abuse, addiction and gambling. My extensive counseling experience includes working with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction and abuse issues. I am also experienced in sexual offense and trauma, gambling addiction and marital counseling.

My counseling style is very personal and my motto is “we will learn together” I employ cognitive behavioral, reality therapy and dialectic therapies in a multi-modal approach to meet your personal therapy goals. In my experience, a therapist must learn about their client as a person and develop a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to develop a very personalized plan of care to meet the …individual's goals and needs. The underlying principle in my therapy practice is that my clients are real people with real concerns and deserve my utmost abilities to guide them to learn to be responsible to make changes in their behavior that will benefit them, their relationships and promote continued growth within themselves.
