Dr. Glenda Birt Brown, MD

Dr. Brown was very rude. She was in such a hurry and attempted to stay in the room for 5 min and exit. The techs perform 99% of the visit! The techs did the refraction and I was told by the tech that the Dr. would check those values to confirm prior to the script being finalized. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN, she did look and complete the health of the eyes portion but did not confirm the script that the tech did prior to her coming in. When I asked about it and requested she at least perform the refraction herself to confirm if the techs values were correct she became VERY rude stating she has been doing this for 20+ years........etc....And how dare I question the way she does her exams. (in my opinion lack there of) .in front of my child who is sitting in the chair . I am a nurse and I get that techs assist; however most of the exam was performed by non licensed personnel and all I asked was that she perform the refraction also to ensure the prescription was correct and that the techs values… were the same as she would recommend. NEVER AGAIN , would NOT recommend this Dr. at all. Maybe that is why I was able to get an appointment so easily
